I uploaded one of my replays to my computer but when I try to open the file it is unable to do so. Can anyone help me, I am on a Mac by the way.

Infinite Flight replays are only compatible within the actual app; you can only view//open replays within Infinite Flight as the file isn’t like a playable video, it’s more of a data record that can be replayed within the app. :)

Then what is the point of being able to share them?
You can share your replays to other users through a variety of methods (such as Share My Infinite Flight) who can then open them through Infinite Flight & subsequently watch your flight, controlling session, etc, all through the app.
