How do you add spaces between sections?

@Max_R.0 like

this?

No, I mean more than that and without the line. Like when you press Enter/Return on your keyboard and it makes the cursor go down. How do you add that kind of space?

Hey Max! You can add <br> to skip lines.

Example:

Hello, my name is Luca!
<br>
<br>
<br>
P.S. My forum tag is lucaviness.

Result:

Hello, my name is Luca!

P.S. My forum tag is lucaviness.

I’ve also added this into the wiki under “Line Breaks”.

Thank you!

This topic is still useful and I’ve been here for years 😂

Thanks for this topic, if I haven’t mentioned that already.

How do you align the text to the left side while it’s in the center?

Hi there! You can use <div align=left> or </div> for that.

If you use <div align=left>, make sure to write </div> to center further text.

Example of <div align=left>

Example:

<div align=center>

This text should be centered.

<div align=left>

This text should be on the left.

</div>

This text will be centered again.

Result:

This text should be centered.

This text should be on the left.

This text will be centered again.

If you use </div>, write <div align=center> to center further text.

Example of </div>

Example:

<div align=center>

This text should be centered.

</div>

This text should be on the left.

<div align=center>

This text will be centered again.

Result:

This text should be centered.

This text should be on the left.

This text will be centered again.

Nice nice!

Oh ok thanks! But when I have centered text I can’t make the writing bold. How do I do that?

You should be able bold text just like you normally do.

Example:

<div align=center>

**This text will be centered... and bold!**

Result:

This text will be centered… and bold!

Oh ok thanks. I was putting that code for the center right before the sentence

I see. When writing with markdown (what Discourse uses), make sure to space everything out properly. It also makes things much easier to edit down the road.
