So usually phones such as the S8 And S8+ dont use the full the screen in infinite flight so this is a simple guide on how to use it fully.
1.Go to settings (Phone Settings)
2.Then Display
3.Then go to Full screen apps and turn on Infinite Flight
After that you can enjoy a full screen Infinite flight.

You are generalising android devices here, when actually it’s only the Samsung Galaxy phone’s that typically have this issue.
It’s easily fixable through game tools as well.
Most other phones already adapt their screen ratio to infinite flight.
Not sure this needs its own topic 🤷
Can confirm what Dan said. I am using the S8. Simply use Samsung’s own Game Launcher and enable full screen. Much faster and easier. :)
