Why 139kts for flaps F, when flaps 3 have to be used at 138kts?

So you go for flaps F instead of flaps 3 after flaps 2?

I don’t know either. I know that the B737 uses 1/5/15/30 on normal conditions, not sure about Airbus.

What I do is “feel” the aircraft. I let it slow down until the vector is about 5 degrees lower than the attitude, then I increase flaps by one level, then repeat until full flaps and keep the speed so the angle is about 5 degrees. It works for all the planes I tried and for all loads. If you have the specs of the plane (thank You Laurens ☺), is easier because You know what to expect of it’s behavior.
