Hello IFC. I would like to start a virtual airline called Access Air and I would love to know how to get started. But I dont want to create a website.
Do I have to be a TL2?

Hey! Unfortunately if you want your VA approved by the IFVARB you must make a website. Showing that you don’t want to make one can make it look like your not as dedicated as it seems. If you don’t know how to make one, maybe this will be a great time to learn something new!

Visit ifvarb.com and have a look through, well, everything. Starting a virtual airline is a decently long process but everything you need to know will be there.
Additionally, you will need to create a website to be IFVARB approved.

Ok, I can create one, but how?
I suggest starting by using Weebly. They are a great application to make websites especially for newer people. It’s simplified and overall good quality.

To make a website, I suggest weebly.com. Very easy and streamlined process that results in beautiful websites.
Also, to communicate with pilots and staff, I suggest creating a slack.com workspace. Most top-tier virtual airlines use a Slack workspace.

In order to found a virtual airline, this has to be accepted by IFVARB. You can click here to go to the “Appy” page of IFVARB. There you will also find most of the information about starting a virtual airline. But to be able to start there, you have to become Trust Level 2. If you want to become that, you just have to stay active. To find out more about it, check out the topic below.

Unfortunately you need a website to be accepted by IFVARB. Of course there are Communitz members who can do that. To find these members, you can make a thread in this topic. You can also find all further information in this topic.
