How To Read a METAR

Hello IFC, I hope you are having a wonderful day! I have a question about METAR and how to read it.

Here is a METAR I pulled from an airport in IF.

170053Z VRB06KT 10SM FEW090 01/M11 A3005 RMK A02 SLP212 T00111111

To me, these look like random letters and numbers, but I know they have a meaning to them!

I suggest you have a read through this tutorial here first:

The METAR you provided is decoded as following:

Time/Date: 17/12/2020 0:53 Zulu
Wind variable of magnitude 6 knots
A few clouds 9,000 feet above airport elevation
Temperate 1 degree celsius
Dewpoint -11 degrees celsius
QNH: 30.05 inHg

Honestly I have never read a METAR in dept, Like I just look at the wind and say this’ll do
