We have all seen aircraft flying alone but have “Flight of 10” as part of their callsign. Where are the other 9 aircraft?
This week’s tutorial is to help clear up any confusion about how to use the phraseology “Flight of X” as it seems to be one of the most misunderstood terms. I discuss why it is used and when to use it.
This is very important to understand especially when there is Live ATC available so the controllers can maintain a safe and steady flow of traffic and separation to allow for “Flight of X” departures and arrivals.
Post any questions or tutorial requests below. Happy and Safe Landings!
