Not really actually, I would recommending doing what LuckyRC is suggesting as that person has some tactic which seems to pull 8-9 hours instead of the 7-8 that you get normally. I don’t know if they’d share that but I haven’t had a sub in a long time so I haven’t been testing.
There’s 2 different categories of long range CL35 flights. One is convenience and one is determination.
Convenience:
Use the links below and you’ll get a flight time of just under 8h30m.
Confidence is still a factor, when you land, you’re going to have at most 30lbs of fuel left.
Determination:
If you’re determined enough and have the time to do it, you can reach flights that last as long as 10 hours. (Sounds weird, but you need fast fingers)
When trying to replicate Bombardier Global 7500 flights, in order to get better mileage I found a hack. After you loose fuel (around 8h15m without descending), start smashing the “auto start” button as fast as you can keep your speed going at a constant rate if you’re able to maintain a steady finger smashing pace.
Caveat, it means you can’t level out your altitude because there’s a limit to how much the auto start smashing can save you from stalling.
This will glide you down with an extra boost from your engines. Make sure your throttle is at 100%. If done right, and you have enough determination to successfully land, the maximum you can achieve is 10h11m. (Also the winds in the pacific give your 5000nm+ range)
