How to manually add emoji?

Hello!

My desktop PC runs Ubuntu Linux. On my iPad, or any mobile device, I can switch to the emoji keyboard and type an emoji. However, I would like to do this on my PC. I know with Slack I can use :joy: to make a laughing emoji, or any other with “::” around it.

Is there a similar way to do this with Discourse?

It’s been disabled on the forum I’m pretty sure. Unless you have the emoji keyboard it won’t work

I wanted to ask this for months just not perfect with creating topics.
