How to make sure I don’t crash

Hey guys, I was just doing a 13 hour flight but In 11 hours it unexpectedly crashed into the water. How can I prevent this?

It crashed into the water?..

Autopilot, correct altitude and speed…

Yes I was flying over the Atlantic

There are times that the fuel also has to do with it, whether you go with too much, or very little and you run out of fuel

I was flying at FL360 at 0.86

Do you know how much fuel you had on board?

I don’t know how to check that after a flight

May I add it was a 747-400 @Luca_Mig .

Well I was watching your stream and it appears that you overflew the airport causing the plane to do circles over the airport until it loses fuel

I would suggest looking up the average flight time of your route and plan to wake up at a time before it starts it decent so you know when to wake up

That’s maybe the problem…
The 747 suffers of extreme fuel consumption…

Huh, I didn’t know that. Thanks

That may be the reason why you crashed…

Was it in your live stream?

Yup it does, to your estimated flight time, add 4 hours extra fuel+ an hour or two worth of fuel in case of stuff like go arounds, holding patterns and other stuff. The 4 extra hours of fuel are to compensate for the wrong estimated flight time.

I always have my fuel at 100%

That might cause some weight and balance problems though.
