How to make a solution on a support topic (close please)

I was looking on a support topic and saw “solution” in green and tick next to it below the message, how do you do this?

That’s if you make a support topic. Someone moved this to #meta as it is for the discussion of the general workings of the forum itself.

You can only mark a post as “Solution” (tick mark) if you’re:
A) The creator of a topic in #support
B) A staff or moderator.

The “Solution”-function is only available in #support
