How to make a 180 degree turn at end of Runway

Hope you guys have a great day!

Question! Could you guys advice me how to make a 180 degree with such as big plane like A380 or B747, for example: sometimes is so hard for me when I am at TNCM Runway 10, you always have to taxi till end of runway and make a big turn…
So what ground speed or how much throttle?
I usually start turning with 10knots ground speed and full left or right rudder… but big plane it will stop turning

Appreciate ur opinions.

At TNCM they have a turn around so its very easy for those big aircraft. I would recommend making that turn slow with little throttle (play around with it). If you need, manually use the rudder to make the sharp turn.

Controllers usually wont have an issue as long as you dont stop on the runway.

Take your time on the turn until you prefect it!

G’day mate!
When doing 180 it is best to go as slow as possible. It also depends on Aircraft type and size. A 787 you can have a high throttle during the turn, a 747 you need to be moving before you start the turn. You then don’t wanna exceed 3 Knots IGS.

In real life, pilot will just push the throttle of ‘‘eng 3 and 4’’ or ‘‘eng 1 and 2’’, it depends on which turn.
But we don’t have the separate throttle, so am sure that’s more challenge for us :D

You could always turn off 2 of the engines and then turn them back on during backtaxi

I use brakes when turning and increase speed

The way to go is a three point turn:

Actually, don’t do that. Do a slight turn to the right, then maintain a low speed and use a hard rudder to the left.
