How to land perfectly?

Hi,
As strange as it may seem, after many years of playing IF, I still can’t land…I’ll take off, get to 20000 ft and set all the autopilot. (speed at around 180-240 knots). Yet, when I come in to land, I always fail and stall.
Please could someone give some instructions on how to land?😂

Full flaps (Airbus flap 4, Boeing flap 30), and around 130-140 knots is a good baseline. Just make sure the runways looks like it coming closer, not moving up or moving down.

Do you use flaps?

What, so take off autopilot, turn flaps into full and just decrease altitude?

Don’t use autopilot for landing, do it manually.

Yes, but before I only set then to the 2nd or 3rd setting

Decent FL030, make visual contact with RWY, reduce speed to 150 set full flaps and when all are set, AP off and ENJOY

land safe

Use trim. Upon landing, I keep my trim around 40%, especially on the 787. It gives a very nice flare as well, which is great for videos and pictures, since it brings out the wing flex too

trim 40% ?? what is your device

I fly with my iPhone 6s

I use 10% for a319

That seems like something more practical. I’ve never really looked it up, but it works great for me in the 787-8. -9 and -10 are good with it too, but because they’re longer, it’s harder to take advantage of it like the -8 can

ah ok I don’t have the 9

My best advice is to go into solo, land a plane with APPR, then watch the replay to realize what you’re doing wrong or right.

Of course.

Sorry, I meant it as a question to the OP. I didn’t mean to reply directly to you.

Use the ILS system

It tells you what where you should be horizontally and vertically, flaps should be at full for most aircraft during landing and try not to flare more than 4 degrees
