Hello everyone hope you are having a great day. I have recently gotten an apple gift card and I want to use it to get a Pro subscription. How do I use it as my payment method rather than my card? Also if I posted this question in the wrong category please let me know.

1.Enter gift card on app store 2. Go into infinite flight and tap get pro 3.Choose the subscription you want then enter apple ID and make sure your paying with the gift card 4. Fly
Iām stuck in the make sure your paying with the gift card part I donāt know how to verify that.
Just make sure you are paying with the gift card and not a credit card asscoiated with the apple id

You may have to set your gift card to āpreferredā payment method so the money doesnāt withdraw from your credit/debit card.
I think you should turn off monthly renewals from your subscription settings.
Then I think you can choose an Apple gift card from the options

This is actually how I got my sub take the Apple gift card out the money in your I tunes account go to if by the sub you like and it should work

Yes. Your Apple account is at the top so whatever you purchase, the money will withdraw from the money you have available in your account.
Once that goes to $0, any further purchases with be deducted from your credit/debt card.

Find the 16-digit code on the back of the card. For some gift cards, you might need to peel or gently scratch off the label to see the code.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the App Store app.
At the top of the screen, tap the sign-in button 
or your photo.
Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code. If you donāt see Redeem Gift Card or Code, sign in with your Apple ID.
Tap Use Camera and follow the instructions on the screen. If you have trouble redeeming the card, tap Enter Code Manually, then follow the instructions on the screen.
Tap Done.
I already did all that and added it to my account. The problem is how do I make sure that my IF sub is paid using the gift card and not my card and making there Gift card the primary method.
Yes, since your iTunes/Apple gift card is at the top before your actual credit/debt card.
Umm go to the AppStore icon in the top right and click it it should do this
Then it should have the amount on the card in the App Store then go to IF and click get Pro select payment method and click or type I tunes gift. Cars
I donāt see that, but I think itās already set as primary as Darius said.
