How can you fly from one region to a different region?

Simply put, you can’t. However you will in the relatively near future. Global Flight is being developed. Can’t say anything about when it might be ready for release.

I’ve been known to glide into other regions.

It’s all white space though.

No terrain, no runways. Nada.

I’ve done it too, I actually landed at the site of EGLL after gliding from amsterdam, but’s it just water
