How to flare?

Hello pilots! Today I would like to read your advice on how to raise the nose of the plane on a landing. I really do my best but I can’t.

speed 135 - 145 kts.

Hiya! Is your device calibrated? That may do the trick.

@Daniel_Steinman this is not technical issue

Oh, yes. I calibrate the device before each landing

@Wurfel

are you trying to “flare” the aircraft? im not sure why you would raise the nose on landing other than to flare…

Your fuel 10%, the landing speed should be around 130knts

you might have the APPR on so you cant really do anything

Nou. I use it for speed

if thats the case… to flare your aircraft is to use the air as a speed brake, when you pull the nose up, immediately following your rear gear should touch the runway… so your reduction in speed, loss of lift and sudden brick wall of air should all culminate into a textbook buttering! at least thats how i do it!!

What is the reason you use %50 trim?

I try to land with the front nose slightly tilted. I thought that would do

Just pull the yoke that’s all you need to do no need for %50 trim. The plane doesn’t react when you do it?

Yes it reacts … but it balances again as you see in the photo …

You are correct. That was my mistake, I misread the original inquiry lol

If you’re struggling to raise the nose maybe try increasing the pitch sensitivity in settings?

Which aircraft were you flying? From the FPV I can see that your approach speed is way too high.

B77W. That was the plane

I’ve never really reached into there haha

you shouldn’t leave it until you touch to runway. Try to keep the same v/s.
