<So recently i have been having bugs with LAX. I was trying to do LHR-LAX. I had to fly over the airport from the north for the 25L approach. As i entered final the airport would go into satellite mode. I had the same issues when doing LAX-JFK. came in from the west and followed the STAR with LGA at the end of it. I had to fly over the airport at 15,000ft and as i entered finnal the airport would go into satellite mode. So how do you you fix this? Well it has to do with the graphics settings this is the best settings if you are trying to save space or you have a lower end device. What ever you do keep the 3D rendering high and everything low. It will go in and out of satellite mode as you leave the airport but when you enter finnal it will reappear. I did some test and so far it work i will do more tests and see it is the full solutions.>
What to do you mean by, ’ airport goes into satellite mode’ ?
Like you can’t see the runway ?
If that’s the case you should clear scenery cache and restart your phone
I think it’s the opposite. Make the 3d building graphics low because the game is only having issue with loading the airport, hence the satellite terrain showing but not the airport, and then leave the rest on medium. Nice observation btw
No the 3D airports disappeared I had it on low with everything. When you fly over and come back around to land the entire airport is completely deleted no taxi lights no nothing it is just part of the senary. What I am posting is the solution because i had all my graphics set to low to avoid taking up storage. Then I started having thess issues I made a recent post about the issue and this is my solution.
Ok I see. Maybe it depends on the remaining storage and specs of the device used. It worked for me, but if your method also worked than that’s nice. I had this issue when my storage became filled but after clearing it up and setting the quality lower, I haven’t had issue. If this happens to me again in the future, I’ll try your method and see what happens cause I think it’d work too
Changing “3D Object Density” has been a known possible fix for quite some time. But changing it to a certain value and keeping it there will not remedy the problem I’m afraid.
