How to be a expert air traffic controller

Hi guys!

   So today I was really wanting to do some air traffic controlling, however I can only ATC on the training server. The problem with this is not everyone listens or even understands what you are saying, so I figured it was time to attempt being and expert air traffic controller. I have done some looking around on the community page but I am not familiar with the whole recruiting process. I would appreciate it if someone (perhaps and expert air traffic controller) could point me in the right direction on where I can sign up etc. and maybe an insight on what it takes to become ATC on the expert server.
