I know I’ve always wondered and thought some of you might have, too! This is a post made by UPS Airlines on Instagram of an air to air photo shoot. I also thought it was a pretty cool photo!

I would be scared
Yeah they’re inc eidbally close they must have special pilots kind of like IFES in real life
I bet they take their senior pilots and have them practice it in a flight simulator before doing it.
Other pilots will be flyinf another plane close to the subject plane. I believe its called a chase plane.
Haha if I saw that flying next to my flight I would freak out.
Looks fun!
Air Canada uses a Learjet with a camera attached to the bottom of the plane to record or snap photos.
Photoshop??
Aircraft manufacturers always have a small jet flying next to the “focus” aircraft, to tape a video, or take pictures. Sometimes choppers.
Look carefully in these videos.
What! These pilots are crazy!
They take the pictures with a camera.
Thats on another plane
But everyone in TS1 knows how to do that. Happens everyday
I love how it says please do not attempt - oh yeah ill just whip out my spare 737
