There are some works being done on my network today and it’s been on and off all day.
I’m wondering how long is too long for the app to run and my flight to continue without the plane catching up to where the internet stops. If that makes sense.
It’s been off for roughly 10-20 minutes at a time and then will come back on for a similar length.
Too risky?

Im pretty sure it can be off for as long as needed, but I’ve had problems where my WiFi disconnects and once it comes back I can’t reconnect to the multiplayer server (the flight continues but it essentially switches you to a solo server).
That happend to me on a transatlantic flight idk why that happens
Maybe try using your phone as a cellular hotspot. Ask the neighbors for their WiFi?
I’ve taken off and flown offline for 50 minutes while driving once.
