How is this possible without crashing?

I was messing around on solo and stalled intentionally. I hit the ground at -13,000 fpm without landing gear but did not crash. How is this possible? The video below shows the impact from several different angles. Dash 8 impact - YouTube

Dash 8 is supposed to have very weak gear. Maybe the developerss forgot to add some extra coding?
