What’s up, everyone?
If you’re like me and obsessed with realism in Infinite Flight, you’ve got to check this out. I finally figured out a way to get actual airline cabin announcements into the game, and it sounds super realistic.
Here’s what you need (it’s all free stuff)
- A Windows laptop or PC
- Your phone (with Infinite Flight, obviously)
- Bluetooth turned on for both devices
- Two free apps from the Microsoft Store:
- Bluetooth Audio Receiver
- LukeAirTool (this is where the sounds are)
The Step-by-Step Setup
Part 1: Get your phone’s audio to your PC (the “zero delay” trick)
First, go to the Microsoft Store and grab “Bluetooth Audio Receiver”.
This application makes your laptop or PC function as a Bluetooth speaker for your mobile phone. This is how we can transmit all the sound from the IF (engines, air traffic control, everything) to your PC without any delay.
Once it’s installed:
- Open the app on your PC.
- On your phone, connect to your laptop via Bluetooth (just like you’d pair new headphones).
- In the PC app, find your phone and click “Open Connection”.
- That’s it! Play some music on your phone to test it. The sound should come right out of your laptop instantly.
Part 2: Get the cabin announcements
Now for the fun part. Go and find “LukeAirTool”. (Just Google it, you’ll find it on flightsim.to or other sim sites).
This program is a massive soundboard with hundreds of real cabin announcements: boarding, safety demos, taxi, cruise, turbulence, descent, landing… you name it, it’s in there.
Once you’ve got it installed:
- Open up LukeAirTool.
- You’ll see the whole panel of announcement buttons.
- Just leave this window open on your desktop.
Putting It All Together
Okay, think about what you have running now:
- Your phone is streaming all its game audio to the laptop (thanks to Part 1).
- Your laptop is playing that game audio.
- LukeAirTool is also on the laptop, ready to play announcements.
All you have to do is plug your headphones (or speakers) into your laptop, not your phone.
You’ll hear the cabin announcement perfectly mixed with your engine sounds and ATC. It’s that simple.
Hope you guys enjoy this. It seriously takes the immersion to a whole new level.
