This afternoon, I was flying into KMSP (as per usual). I called inbound for 30R on left traffic accidentally, when I intended to say “right” traffic on the CTAF. I don’t often make mistakes on UNICOM/CTAF frequencies, but it does happen. What is the proper way to handle this situation? There’s no message for “disregard” (maybe there should be?), so I’ve always resorted to just repeating the message with the correction. Is this the best way to do this, or is there a better/more correct way to go about it?

Yep, your way would be the best way to me. It would be cool if there was a disregard option but I can’t see it being used too often

Just repeat the message correctly, it isn’t that deep and I’m sure everyone has done this at one point or another.
