How do you track or visualize your flights outside IF?

Hi everyone,

I’m curious how people here keep a history of their flights outside the sim.

I’ve been experimenting with a small side project focused on visualizing flight routes and keeping a simple flight history on a map, mainly because I wanted something lightweight to look back at past flights and routes flown over time.

Do you track your flights at all outside IF? If you do, what do you use (spreadsheets, screenshots, apps, nothing at all)?

What would you actually find useful in a simple flight history or route visualization tool?

The idea is to focus on making it as easy and quick as possible to load flights. I’m mostly interested in learning how others here approach this.

Welcome to the Community!

I personally use a combination of a custom-made Google Spreadsheet as well as my.flightradar24.com to log my flights. I use InFlight Info to track my flights while they’re flying.

I wasn’t aware of the inflight website :eyes: Went to check it out and thought I was in a different version of Flightradar24 with the amount of planes in the air. Amazing to see that many pilots on Expert flying around

When I clicked the fr24 link I got a pop up saying that my Mac OS was at risk with viruses and I should scan for viruses. Weird because I’m on an iPad, not a Mac. Of course I didn’t click it though because it was probably a scam

I clicked the link again and this time got another warning to not visit the site

I think that’s because there’s a dot missing after “my” in that URL.

Are there any advantages or better features at inflight info, compared to InfiniteInfo? I am using last one and never used inflight info yet.

InFlight Info gives a lot of info for no cost. Pretty much all the other trackers have some form of subscription with extra features.

What i personally do is that i keep a small notebook and before every flight, i write some pre-flight info like the flight number, weight and some other info. and after every flight i write up what went good like the landing, and what went bad like communicating with ATC. oh yeah also, i write up the date of the flight, bc sometimes a flight takes up 2 dates because its intercontinental. so what i do is i write the time of departure, and arrival. I hoped this helped!
