How do you stop engines on replay mode

Unfortunately you cannot stop your engines in replay mode. The replay mode mirrors the conditions that were present during your live session, thus if the engines are running they will be running in replay too.

Engines will “windmill” if there is enough wind when turned off.

How do people get shots with no engines running?

You would have to ask the person who took the screenshot. Perhaps they didn’t have the engines running just for the purpose of the screenshot.

Have a look at @Chris_S‘ post above as windmilling is a major factor on top of the engine on/off for your question. When there’s no it little wind at the airport, then you won’t have windmilling.

Most people don’t have the engines on when they spawn in so they take the screenshots while at the gate with the engines off.
