How do you screen record while you do a livestream?

Hey everybody. So for the live streamers of IF, how do I livestream while screen recording? I am going to do a livestream soon and would like to know. Thanks!

Which screen recorder do you use.

Just the apple one. I simply screen record from the settings. I have an iPad mini 4.

I believe on Apple it has to be linked up to a PC, (I’m not an apple person), ask @PocketRishi for that question.

On android there are several free apps that may have to be paid for to have top notch quality, that stream straight off the app onto whatever media you want.

Infinite Flight can be quite unstable with overlaying apps, so the game may crash to protect itself from any possible problems.

@Ecoops123 Would a Mac be alright or does it have to be a PC?

I imagine an IMac should be alright, but I literally am not an Apple person, that’s probably as much you’ll be able to get out of me 😂

Should I go and watch a YouTube tutorial video? @Ecoops123

When I had an iPad, I used a secondary recording app, (meaning I had 2 screen recorders), and I used one while the other was live stream.

Ok, what app? @KennedyTurner

This should help you

Live streaming on YouTube through iOS ReplayKit is available on devices running iOS version 10.2+. When using a supported app such as Procreate, Asphalt 8: Airborne, or Mobile Legends: Bang bang, you can stream directly to YouTube.

Note that each supported app will have its own location for this setting.

  1. Select YouTube as the streaming app.
  2. Create title, then select a privacy setting.
  3. Optional: Select other settings.
  • Add a description.
  • Turn live chat on or off.
  • Turn age restriction on or off for your stream.
  • Indicate whether your stream contains paid promotion and add a paid promotion disclosure.
  • Select the back arrow.
  1. Optional: Stream in landscape mode.
  • Hold your device in landscape mode.
  • Make sure your screen rotation lock is off.
  1. Optional: To share your stream, tap SHARE.
  2. Select GO LIVE .

To end a stream, stop the app. You can edit the privacy setting (including setting it to private) or delete the archive of your stream on the My Videos page.

If that doesn’t help then I’m very sorry I’ve never live streamed myself.

Here’s a link to one of the popular options

DR Screeen Recorder and YouTube streamer.

Would Omlet Arcade work or are there better?

Is that even a screen recording app 😂

I’ve never heard of that, sorry. I’m the type of person where if I find something that works remotely close to how I need it to, I’ll use it until I can’t.

@PocketRishi Can I have some tips?

for the livestream, I also use OmletArcade. It’s not the best but it just works and thats all that matters for a livestream

Not sure if you asked for tips in general. All I can say is that after editing a few videos of your own, you will know your own editing and videomaking style and will eventually improve upon it

Amen to that! That’s exactly how I started making mine.
