Since I sometimes ask myself what kind of flight I want to take, I wondered how other Infinity Flight users do it. For a few weeks now, I’ve been picking random flights from flightradar 24 and trying to follow them as closely as possible. How do you choose your flights?

If you join IAGVA you’ll be absolutely spoiled for choice!!
i look at the atc schedule + where atc is currently active, look at flightradar for a flight from one of those airports and then basically just use simbrief and fly
Joining a VA helps for choosing routes, also trying to start where you’ve landed previously could make it more fun. Of course recreating flights you might have done irl is also fun.
I just make a mental route plan on what routes I want to do. I also check FR24 for realistic routes and liveries.
I have several Notebooks filled with all my flights lined out and ready to go depending on what day they are operated. For Long Hauls i like to wait for the ATC Schedule to see what Airports will have ATC!
Va’s, recreating flights I’ve been on and random flights on fr24.
All these vary in length, but here are some ideas:
- Virtual Airline Routes + Codeshare Routes
- Events: IFC events, or VA events.
- ATC Schedule: Featured routes, or random airports with ATC. I prefer ATC on arrival, if I can’t have both.
- And yeah, FR24.
I always fly from the airport I landed at last.
Used to do a “world tour” departing from every airport I landed previously and trying to visit as most countries as possible. Today I use to fly where atc is or some interesting/routes I flown here in South America
I fly consecutively based on a spreadsheet with about 3500 different IRL flights, I also like to throw in some Flyouts and group flights.
