How do Infinite Flight staff choose on what's next?

I have a question, how do staff pick on what is next for the future of Infinite Flight? Part of it comes from the users, but what about the staff them selves? For instance we had the battle of the heavy and the a380 won that was a thing for the community, but what about the staff themselves to pick what should be in the future update? I wouldn’t mind seeing a video on what happens behind the seens to see what it takes to implement ideas and what it takes for the team to do it all.
