Hello, I been looking around and see a couple posts about VA’s casn i create on myself if so hw do i go about it and where can i find the necessary requirements.
It takes a lot to create a VA, including having a website and a discord server, along with plans for events, system of ranks, and many other things. The first thing to do would be to join a VA or two and spend time in it flying and understanding how they work. Then, you’d have to find an airline or organization that already isn’t made into a VA. Then you would have to follow the application process on the IFVARB website, find staff, and then, and only then would you have a functioning VA. Then you have to get pilots.
In short, one doesn’t just “create” a VA. In IF the VAs are run by dedicated leaders, and play serious parts in the community. That’s why many VAs with weaker leaders are not popular, or haven’t been very successful. I would check out the possible VAs you can join in here, the IFVARB database!
