About my infinite flight story, it all began in 2015.
In 2015, when I was flying from Frankfurt to London, i was in the terminal waiting to board, while that I looked out of the window and I was stunned by what planes and how much planes there are. 747-8, 747-400, a320, 737-500 (was normal back then), A310, a380, 777, MD-80, MD-11, etc etc. i was so impressed from the planes that i wanted to fly every single one. Too bad I already was full that day. Also, while I was flying there were many other planes under our a319, which made contrails which also impressed me. These 2 things sparked my interest in aviation.
In 2017, I begand downloading small plane games from the App Store, not infinite flight, but some small games which I don’t know the names anymore
2019 there was a air show at my local airport. The entire town came to visit the airport. JU52, DC3, Red Bull planes everywhere, old ilyushin planes, etc which made my interest into aviation bigger than before. I started playing flight games like Aerofly, infinite flight and rfs to “train” since then I wanted to become a pilot for Lufthansa. My goal planes were the MD-11, 747-400, 747-8 and A380. I will only fly 2 of these as the 747-400 is retiring and MD-11 is retired but still good planes.
In 2019 I started playing around with the free 747 and a380 in free regions, started making stunts, some short hops between cities and I made up fictional disasters and tried to recreate them in IF but I got bored so I got the subscription.
I discovered the forum in 2022 and I am using it since then. Since then I got better and more realistic and I racked up my hours on the sim and got grade 3 relatively fast.
Infinite flight is definitely one of the best flight simulator I used in my life. Either for training or for fun, it’s an option I always use first. Everywhere, whenever. Now with the new 737 max, I will try to make more flights in North America and I am wondering what the new secret aircraft will be.

I liked RFS more, my lil bro liked IF more. Days pass by and we’re still beefing on which flight sim is the best… my argument would always be “RFS has 3d buildings” which actually kind of worked because my brother did almost switch to RFS…
then this happened
we both then switched to infinite flight and have been playing together ever since
from the start though, I’ve always been jealous about IF’s amazing aircraft models and cockpits.
but because no 3d buildings meant garbage for me. When I seen that 21.1 trailer, it was my last straw. completely gave up RFS after that one
RFS still has a special place in my heart because it was my first ever ACTUAL flight sim ❤️

I was browsing youtube in lockdown and came across a 777-300 flight video. The multiplayer sold it for me. Downloaded, spent a few months on solo, subbed and the rest is history.

Well first I saw the community website. I didn’t know what it was so I hadnt joined at the time. I was looking for the closest thing to MSFS but on mobile. first it was flywings 2018 (using a laptop was a mistake) then geofs (terrible quality terrible controls) then real flight FS (not too bad, just no realistic liveries) then I stumbled across IF. Got the hang of it in a few days, subbed, joined the community and here I am, a grade 3 pilot in just under one year of playing and I’ve loved every bit of it!

why i came was from a friend recommendation my friend @The_Avgeek_with_ADHD whos obsessed with planes told me about this plane tracker and i got all exited then he told me there was a whole community about it and helped me make and account and now im here

I stumbled across this wonderful flight simulator about 13 months ago and joined the IFC 2 months later. I was so mesmerized how such a high quality flight simulator could just run on my mobile device. It turned into a daily run lol! Glad i found this sim.
