I was wondering, how did the logo for IF become what we know it as today? What was the inspiration behind it? Were there other designs that never got used? I’m just curious as I’ve always loved the logo, and have started to wonder about the history behind it.

From my personal investigations, I think that the name is inspired by the lack of stages in the game (unlike other flying games in phones) and that you fly as you like 🥸🤓
I’m sure one of the devs has the answer. Laura or Philippe most likely.
From a graphic designer point of view. Its an innovative approach, at par to any modeen logo designs, Sleek lines, simple lettering and colors, iconic - which i think what makes the IF logo now… Timeless.
