How can you tell your pitch angle

Hey yall

I was watching the a220 flying tutorial and I had a question I want to get clarified. When taking off, it was said that a 15 degree pitch would be good. Is there a way to see what pitch your plane is at on the HUD or do you guess or is there another way?

15 degrees would be the third line that is shown on the HUD. First line is 5 degrees, second line is 10.
This can also be seen on the PFD in the cockpit.

Also, on the bottom, you can select AOA (Angle of Attack) as well.

That’s true

Do keep in mind that AOA and pitch are very different. Here’s a cool Boeing article that explains more
