in what do you mean exactly? Personally, scedule flights ahead of time, make the most of your time, try to do ultra realistic flights, and so on. Try something different in the sim. Do whatever you would like to/want to do.

Learn to fly difficult approaches. Learn VFR navigation techniques. Plan tactical military missions. Fly low levels. Learn aerobatics. Endless things to do.

If you’re bored while flying, I suggest you bring a notebook to wherever you’re playing and watch some YT videos.

I highly suggest joining a VA. My favorite thing about the one I’m a member of (Delta Virtual) is the daily curated flights. Every week we get a set of “routes of the week” that tend to be between a Delta/SkyTeam hub and one of the featured airports that day. Each day usually has three or four of these featured routes, with theme days like my personal favorite “throwback thursdays,” where you get to fly some old birds that you don’t see very often in IF, like the Northwest 744 for example.
The ranking system and aircraft restrictions force you to get creative with route planning and make you fly to places you’d never have even thought of before, gradually allowing you to expand from the humble regional jets, to the bread and butter narrowbodies, to the world traveling heavies. The community aspect is great too, as most of the VAs have Discord servers where you can hang out with like-minded virtual pilots.
