How airplanes get oxygen at altitude

This video is quite interesting. It explaines how airplanes actually circulate oxygen at high altitudes. It also explains how the emergency oxygen masks work given that they are not connected to a tank.

Isn’t it obvious? There’s a giant long tube hanging at the bottom of the airplane that collects oxygen at low altitudes and brings it up.

Science “duh”

It wasn’t ever about oxygen at low levels…just the cabin pressurization and working of oxygen masks

The oxygen generator for the emergency mask caused the crash of ValuJet 592.

if you noticed on the plane window there is a little hole thats a bleed hole to circulate oxygen around the plane and keep the pressure in the plane the same ;)
