Today again a ultra long haul, but this time roughly one hour shorter. Departing Hong Kong and arriving in Santiago after 23 hours and two sunrises and sunsets. The cruise speed was mach 0.84 and I’ve used the step climb method, starting at fl290 and ending at fl390. We arrived at a foggy Santiago during sunrise. We flew above; China, Japan, Alaska, Canada, United States, Mexico, Peru and last but not least Chile. I think this is one of my favourite ultra long haul flights.
