Holidays are best spent at home with family and friends. For those of us who’ve spread our wings and left home, it can sometimes be a difficult time. So this year, with the help of Infinite Flight and Global, I’ll be flying home for the holidays.
The idea behind this flight is simple: depart from the airport nearest to where you live now, and arrive at the airport nearest to your childhood hometown. My flight plan will take me 1,141 miles north, from Ft. Myers, Florida (KRSW) to Flint, Michigan (KFNT).
The aircraft I’ve chosen is the A318 ACJ. It has the right specifications and a festive look, a perfect fit for my holiday trip. In a salute to the North Pole, this aircraft proudly sports the flag of Canada atop its tail (red nose and antlers optional).
This is not an official event, just an idea that I wanted to share. One question remains: how many gifts can an A318 hold? With over 26,000 lbs. of payload, I’d better get shopping. Happy Holidays, and safe flying, wherever your travels take you.
I believe this is a thread where he shares his wonderful journey which he is about to undergo and I would like us to share our stories, Not an event. @Plane-Train-TV
