Holding present position right turns only

New to the game. On IFR and told by New York Center to hold present position, right turns, 200 knots. As soon as I slowed down and started to turn I lost their communications. Not sure what to do? I’ve been holding in right circle pattern for 10 minutes

There’s a connection issue or you’re confused because you’re not receiving further instructions while in the hold? The best answer will come from your controller who’s in-app display name is the same as their community forum name; I recommend shooting them a PM to discuss the situation.

Hey! Was this on the Training Server or the Expert Server?

Thanks. So I lost New York Center as soon as I started the hold pattern and they have not returned. All I have as options are local Unicom. Not sure how to PM controller when I can’t see who it was anymore?

Gotcha. @CaptainSooraj asks a good question above: which server was this on? Either way, once the controller ends their session, you are free to navigate as you wish; however, be on the look out for the traffic that may have caused the hold to be necessary in the first place.

Thanks very much. Just entered the training server with 35 landings thus far. That is what I eventually did, but I did stay in the holding pattern like a good pilot for 20 minutes :0}. Want to do this the right way. Appreciate the lift.
