I just received a Hold Instruction by Approach but didn’t get the purple line of where to hold nor can I find the VOR mentioned when searching. I am confused what to do. This is on Expert Server.
It might has been removed because of performance reasons. A hold is basically like a rectangle, so just do a 360. I’m not sure about th VOR though.

Thankfully, ATC just vectored me out of holding pattern just now. But in case of future I should just try and keep on doing 360’s right?

Yeah, I would keep doing the hold until the controller vectors you out!
