Hey aviators,

Is there any way we can give hold to an aircraft , by providing a VOR point.

Currently only ‘Hold at present position’ options shows up.

Tap and hold the aircraft’s icon on your Radar map, and then drag them to the point you want to hold (ideally at a WPT or airport since VOR holds are a bit very broken). This is the drag and vector tool (if you’re not familiar with it already). Once you drag to the selected point, release, and you’ll see a menu pop-up with many options. You can choose the “hold” option then.

sorry, but as an aircraft, how would hold? do you just circulate the VOR?

i cant control on training server bc im in ifatc but ask someone to tell you to hold on approach

If you tell me where you want to go (airport) I’ll come on Training Server as a radar controller and give you a hold if you want

Earlier it used to show the option to provide a hold position of choosing by an ATC, but currently it only shows options as below :

  1. Hold at Present Position
    2.Make left/right 360

Here is how it works

  1. Drag the vector tool and do no release it yet
  2. Drag the tool to the point where you want the plane to hold (this is usually the fix, waypoint or airport icon), release the drag tool over it
  3. Click on ‘Hold’
  4. Now you will see options to hold.
