HOBART TO SYDNEY

Welcome aboard QantasLink 1586 and this trusty old Boeing 717-23S. We are heading up towards Sydney with an hour and a half hop over land and sea courtesy of some classic machinery.

A completely spontaneous one today. It was a YouTube video by the Australian flight reviewer Paul Stewart that popped up in my recommended watch list that inspired a new route to try and of course I knew the Australian scenery would not disappoint!

Departure: YMHB (Hobart Airport, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia).
Arrival: YSSY (Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, Sydney, Australia).
Flight time : 1 hour 40 minutes.
Server: Expert.

Notes: As always, no hard editing was done to the photos, just some personal preference slight changes to the light and contrast and working with what is available – nothing fake added or taken away.

I’d prefer to see it as a test of how strong the runway is and if it can withstand the mighty 717. It did;.
