It’s nice to see people taking responsibility. Remember to control within your means though because being incredibly stressed out will often lead to a bad quality of service.

It’s okay it was pretty hectic there. It took me 45 minutes takeoff because there is only one runway

Half my fuel was gone just waiting line. I ended up turning off one engine and turning it on when I was first in line.

Yea in order to avoid that I taxi with only one engine for most of my flights.

I don’t know what happened in your case, but this happened a few hours before that. Yesterday when APP closed this happened the second after:

Pilots are responsible aswell… if they want to crash into eachother be my guest… nothing to do about situations like this. That’s also partly because of pilots not listening and wanting to land ASAP.
Why? Why are you in a hurry when you play a game? Instead pilots just sent 5 messages trying to get what they want, they don’t listen and fly into eachother. But because you have it so busy you can report them.
A few days back I was controlling Tower, APP closed there was an still a line, so I sequenced everyone, guess what happened? No one, literally no one listened. Yeah, I can report everyone at that moment. But I don’t have enough time.
So, listen to the ATC, and don’t sent duplicate messages to get what you want. You will be reported fairly quickly when it’s busy and I control. Because I atleast want the real pilots to have a good experience.

After tower and approach went offline people just headed for the runway before they all followed a approach procedure given by atc

So true!! Even I witnessed this. I went away from this mayhem and waited till atc was active again. Initially I tried to get in the formation the approach had set up but I realized there was no point to it as everyone had made their turns towards the runway 😂

We all make mistakes but it is how we learn from them that matters! Do remember there will always be someone to help, if its veteran ATC who can take over or someone on approach helping you out with arrivals. IFATC is a team and sometimes you can’t always take the full load!

Hey Saharsh, we all make mistakes and we all now that you’re very good at controlling, it’s not easy to manage 200 arrival with a single runway plus back taxi. Keep it up!

It’s totally normal, a hub can’t have one runway so it was quite the nightmare there, especially because there was no approach frequency most of the time.
Thought we learned our lesson with Auckland and Geneva but that was not the case ahaha
