I wasn’t planning on posting screenshots from this flight from Hindon Air Force Station (VIDX) to Leh Air Force Station (VILH) in northern India, but I think this image is worth sharing. The Pirpanjal Range looks simply amazing from the right wing of this Indian Air Force C-130J-30. The range is actually an extension of the Himalayas. Even though flying conditions weren’t ideal, this rugged aircraft performed well, even at the highest elevations. Note: Hindon AFS is home to 18 C-130s of No. 77 Squadron and 10 C-17s of No. 81 Squadron. This flight was completed on the training server.

It was edited slightly to enhance the color and contrast. The beauty of the scenery really stands on its own.
