High-Altitude Downwinds

This is an issue any time IFATC opens at places which require you to maintain higher altitudes later into the flight, or nearer the field.

Just because you can go above 250 KIAS on downwind if you’re above 10k, doesn’t mean you should.

It is still downwind. 450 knots GS on downwind is not something you should require guidance or intervention to avoid on the expert server.

I agree with you here Tim. If you don’t know that you should being going slower than 450 knots GS on downwind, then they shouldn’t be on Expert. Plane and simple. (Pun intended).

We should make a book or at least a PDF out of all those Live-Tutorial posts of Tim. Constructive and good reminders of how to behave on Live Servers.
