Hercules Gunship

Just a general FYI for any IFC Gunship fans …

Hey this is good, but perhaps you could add more substance to your post explaining what it is about, or why you chose to make a topic about this or something else? Thanks bud, and neat article! ;)

Even though I’m not a huge military aviation fan, I do appreciate some of these names. “Ghostrider” and “Spooky” seem like very apt names for such a type of aircraft!

The one in IF is a “Spectre” so there is another name !
Another name is Combat Talon ll and lll
A non “gunship” version used by USAF Spec Ops

The AC-130W “Stinger ll” is the latest version gunship

Oh, the gunship, gotta love it

If you can’t figure out that there is a AC-130H in IF then
the old saying "IF YOU NEED TO ASK WHY MEN CLIMB MOUNTAINS , YOU WOULDN’T UNDERSTAND THEIR Answer
This article speaks volumes for itself.

Well there you have it, the more you know! If anything the one in IF being a “Spectre” has made me want to fly it more.

Cool…except its a “monument” now at Hurlburt Field
They pulled the plug on the “H” variant in 2017.
But it a interesting add to IF certainly adds a different twist. I’m curious who the IF author is??
