I have done everything that had to done even though I got kicked out, when is the next update cuz I want to see if there are any problems that have been solved.
Hello! Could you please describe your issue more?
After a couple mins or hour my game crashes and I have to restart my flight and game.
Thatās not a permanent solution. Just decreases the risk. I was talking to someone who did a flight on 13.4.5 the new update in beta i believe, they did an 11 hour flight on all max settings. So maybe good news? and what device do you have.
What device are you using? There are known issues with internal RAM memory on certain devices
Apple iPad 3th generation
What OS are you running? Appleās most recent OS (13, if Iām not mistaken) is notable for having an issue where RAM is leaking.
13.4.1 the update
Doesnāt matter, ipad third generations are years old. And only have 1GB of RAM. And IF recommends two. The OP would experience crashed even if the RAM issue wasnāt a thing. @TPGamer I recommend either shorter flights, or a new deviceā¦ Thereās nothing more anyone can do
I am running iOS 13.4
Never mix an Android guy, with Apple supportā¦ š
Sorry about that, I just copied it from another thread.
Does it work fine with you guys
What weāre talking about is RAM storage. What you are showing is your normal storage capacity. The RAM memory together with the chipset mainly determine the fluency of a game. As said before, your device is pretty old and only has 1 GB of RAM, while at least 2 is recommended. The only solution for this is to buy a new device.
From the Support FAQ:
We are aware of a slightly increased crash rate on 19.4 with iOS. The cause of this is not 19.4 directly, but a framework used together with iOS 13 that is leaking a substantial amount of memory. The less RAM your iOS device is equipped with, the greater the risk is of being affected.
Now more than ever, the steps quoted should be followed when attempting a longer flight as it will greatly reduce the risks of experiencing a crash.
If you are experiencing these crashes, make sure you reduce the following settings:
- Texture Resolution: Low
- Anti Aliasing: Off
- Live Aircraft Count: Low to None, None especially on Final.
- Rendering resolution: Low
Ya I have done all of that
I have already told you whatās wrong.
Please read what is being said, your problem is the elderness of your device, possibly together with the RAM issue. I would recommend buying a new device with at least 4 GB of RAM to keep running IF smootly.
If you donāt want or canāt buy a new device at the moment, you can only wait to the update that fixes the RAM leak issue.
I donāt think iPad 3rd gen is supported as it only has a 32-bit chip as the 64-bit chip on newer devices (Apple A7 onwards) is a minimum requirement for a device to run Infinite Flight. Maybe he meant the Mini 3?
