Thanks for all the help! That was all I needed! :)
It only has to be big enough to handle a Boeing 757-200
What do you plan on using this information for?
For NYC, try Newark (KEWR).
For Seattle, try Portland (KPDX)
For Dallas, try Houston (KIAH).
Not sure about Atlanta.
I am just thinking about future routes if I eventually decide to found a VA.
Thank you so much! :)
I am still going to wait to see what other people have to say about different airport options.
NY: Stewart Airport, most notably serves some transAtlantic routes
Atlanta: Hartsfield is honestly the only passenger airport for the area, there is no way around that
Dallas: KDAL, main airline being Southwest, although it should be able to handle a 757
Thanks so much! I appreciate it! :)
Everett’s new passenger terminal currently being built, or Bellingham, both can fit a 757
Aw man, KAVP is a good regional airport but its kinda lose to JFK idk our gona have to see it on IF or Google maps.
Hey! Don’t forget my home airport!
KSJC
It’s not far from KSFO and it can handle a B787 and an A340!
La Guardia is one…
I strongly KSMF, (Sacramento) literally about a little way from KLAX.
Sacramento to Los Angeles is about an hour on an airplane and a 7+ hour drive.
Seems a little more than a “little way” to me.
My bad I meant KSFO.
Closer, but still a good distance with 3 hours by car and a little less than an hour by air.
KOAK is on the other side of the bay and has some nonstop flights to Europe.
KSFO is a really popular airport in Infinite Flight.
@CJLAviation is looking for non popular airports that are near popular ones but underserved.
Like many others:
KEWR near KJFK
KLGA near KJFK
KDAL, KHOU, or KIAH near KDFW
KFLL, KTPA, KMCO near KMIA
MY IDEAS:
KSJC, KOAK, KSMF near KSFO
KABY, KAGS, KBQK, KCSG, KSAV (in Savannah, Georgia), KVLD near KATL
Please read the post above, I was referring to an airport closer to KSFO in this case KSMF, thanks.
Guess your body was a little unclear to me.
As soon as I saw this topic I knew I could expect a KJSC comment from you😅definitely a good choice!
