Sorry to be that person, I understand your frustration, but delays happen. That’s part of flying with ATC.

@AVirtualAviatorYT

…?? Already flew about every leg of the last World Tour. Traffic was crazy! I don’t feel like being the last person to be the reason, “Attention all aircraft, please only request takeoff when first in line,” so I happily waited. I just didn’t know you could taxi through people.

Not blaming the person who taxied through me either. Thanks for your help.

Hello!As I understand it, another aircraft taxied through you and moved in front of you while you were waiting for takeoff, and this is what you are complaining about. If that is the case, the controller should have noticed it and issued a violation to that aircraft.

Also, if ATC has forgotten about you, you can request takeoff clearance again, as long as you don’t do it excessively. However, my advice would be that if you are already next in line, you will be given takeoff clearance anyway.

If we go back to the beginning of the situation, as I said, the controller should have noticed what happened and issued a violation to that aircraft, and should not have allowed it to take your place in the line.You should share this situation with the controller and let them know about it so they can avoid making the same mistake again.

Thank you!

What Call sign were you using?

Ngl, a 20 minute wait is nothing. The issue of someone taxiing through you makes sense to be frustrated about, but that fact that you didn’t even hit the half hour mark is pretty darn good. Major airports always have heavy delays in IF

Hello!

I’m not really sure why making a public post would help? I recommend dming the controller respectfully - you can find their username in the replay under com 1.

Airbus 339 Heavy

Again, I flew just about every leg of the World Tour. Having requested to take off at least twice and taxied through once is where I am asking for help to determine if this needs an Open Beta Tag, a Live tag, or a Support tag if I’m the first or one of many that this is occurring and needs addressing.

(Post can’t be empty.)

That’s fair. I’d go back through the replay and see if you had any connection errors. There’s also a chance that the other user was glitching and had bad network, making him invisible to ATC. That’s definitely happened before

I, also, in the relatively recent past got pushback&taxi, though once I would contact tower every time I would switch to tower I was disconnected by IFATC, sarcastically given, ‘You’re welcome!’ on about my 5th of no more than 7 tries. The reason for disconnection was that I was invisible. @Petre2026 Not sure if I should open another topic, maybe #openbeta , though I couldn’t see a B38M the other day. So… I unchecked ‘hide airplane names’ and ‘hide airplane dots,’ kept the mini map in HUD open and gave them space as if they were an A380, though I am generally aware of the size of a B38M in IF to air on the side of caution.

Are you in open beta? If so, definitely use Open Beta. If you’re on RTM, use Support. But definitely open a topic, and hopefully a fix can be found. It’s very likely you weren’t visible to ATC for some reason

Oh no, misunderstanding. I wanted to reply someone else
