Why would they not serve Frankfurt? Isn’t it one of the busiest airports in Europe?
No, they serve Frankfurt. They just don’t use the a380 there. The a380 is only based in Munich for Lufthansa.

They have their Boeing 747s and Airbus A340s from Frankfurt.

I was meant to say why wouldn’t they station the A380 there.
There are several good articles about it. At the end of the day it comes down to route management.
