Heavys - pitch for airspeed, power for descent?

So i know that there is a lot of info out there on the old pitch for airspeed, power for altitude topic and I know that all the fantastic IF tutorials favor pitching for airspeed. I sometimes have struggled with this and cause there is so much controversey over this it makes it hard.

Are there any real life airline pilots that would be able to give their personal opinion on what method for controlling airspeed and glideslope they find to be usefull in HEAVYS, with more mass to them than GA’s.

(I realise there is no right or wrong here and everyone has a different opinion and IF teaches one particular method. So knly asking for personal preferences regarding this method.)
