A Trip into Moscow, Heavy Style! 🇷🇺

~ Cargologic Air ( Air Bridge Cargo ) Boeing 747-800 Freighter.

Hey Everyone!
Featured by the IFATC today, I have thought on hopping into Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, from Frankfurt! This flight just came out, perfect. 👌

INFORMATION:
Flight (Callsign) - CLU378 Common Flight used by the ABC.
Space used: South Apron in Frankfurt Airport.

Route: EDDF - UUEE

#1 - Preparation for the Flight. (Frankfurt)
This includes Flight Planning preps, Fuel calculations and getting things topped up before starting the engines. It was quite foggy down in Frankfurt.

PAYLOAD = 40/45 Tons.

#2 - Roll out! Successful Takeoff. (Frankfurt)
ABC 378 blasted its 747 engines out of Runway 25C, before banking to the right, heading towards Moscow.

#3 - A view of the Frankfurt Airport.
Located in the Right Crosswind of Runway 25C After Departure. Climbing a high VS of 2000. Fog looked to be slowly disappearing.

#4 - Cruise! Out in the East of Europe.
Yep, cruising now at a lower altitude, 31,000 feet. Gliding at a speed of Mach 0.78. At such of a heavy aircraft, the speed and altitude is quite normal on the Boeing 747-800.

#5 - On the Descent into Moscow, Middle Russia.
Reaching at a certain point and getting closer and closer to the controlled Airspace, I have started descending into Sheremetyevo. Also Contacting the Approach tower. It has been a pleasure to slowly see the sunset when finishing a certain flight. 😎

#6 - Moments of Touchdown, Final Approach RWY 25C.
Clock is ticking, Getting quickly lined up to the centre line of the runway. Landing resulted Good enough. Luckily not a hard one. 😉

#7 - A view of Sheremetyevo Airport. Taxiing back to Parking.
To finish my day, I took a look on my right and saw the aircrafts departing. The airspace was quite busy though. Here you see a lovely Aeroflot’s Boeing 777-300 Aircraft just after pushing back. The sun is setting increasing the colour contrast.

I hope you have enjoyed! Thanks to the IFATC for Vectoring and controlling the Airspace successfully. I have overall enjoyed my flight and looking forward for the next one the following day. I have not posted in this Category for quite a while. More to follow soon!

And Damn, I had to leave my flight then so… No more pictures today. I had to leave to watch my favourite new series in HBO. Maybe tomorrow!
